The overall quality, the Canon better. They made cameras for a long time and know exactly what is available and their goals are higher than most other brands.
Glasswise which exceeds by far the Lumix because of the Leica lens. Try looking to know how better to appreciate a Leica (old or new) for sale. You already know that the glass (lens) is the most important part of the camera. It is the recipient save the image and capture.
For more troubleshooting information available for the Canon to go. If the glass, the more value compared to the Lumix.
I have no experience with the Panasonic, but the Canon G10 provides beautiful images with beautiful colors.
